23 Feb 2009: trip to IKEAMe, Yuyue, Cheng Heng and Shiying went to IKEA..Went hunting for a frame for the disneyland thingy and curtains for one shelf...We took train from Yio Chu Kang to Tampines..
Then the free shuttle bus to IKEA...The four of us sorta cut queue...At first, we dint know where to queue...So we went to the right side of 3 ppl..More ppl came and started queuing on the left side of the 3 ppl...And we became the first in the queue! LOL~So boarded the bus and reached IKEA...When we reached IKEA, we walked around the furnishing level...Saw the showrooms etc..Got the feeling of a real home siaz..So cosy and comfortable siaz..Anyway, Cheng heng got lost in IKEA~ lol!He couldnt find us after he came out from the toilet...Then we walked until the foodcourt and had dinner there..Spent $9.20 for dinner =))
The food was quite nice! haha~Then we wondered if we need to clear our table...Cos we saw some who cleared the tables by themselves, some who dint..In the end, we cleared our table by ourselves to be good and considerate Singaporeans.. HAHA!Then we went to the DIY level to find curtains and frames...Walked around and found the cloth to make curtains and the self-assemble curtain holder...We couldnt find the frame cos the largest size was 50 x 70!!Our disneyland thingy was 60 x 80 =.=Then we paid for the curtains and went to Courts and Giant...Spent $36.10 at IKEA.We oso couldnt find any frames at Courts and Giant...So we went home...Took 969 back to Yishun at 9.30pm...Cheng Heng dropped off at his stop...And the funny thing is...He couldnt recognize the correct bus stop~!But he still managed to alight at the correct stop...Then me, Shiying and Yuyue alighted at Yishun MRt station.Me and Yuyue took train home...Reached home at 10.30pm...Then bathed and packed for Ubin trip..24 Feb 2009: Trip to Palau Ubin
The trip was quite fun!But we had 2 casualities!! =((People attended: ME! Yueling! Yuyue! Cheryl! Shiying! Cheng Heng! Hui Yi! Taurus!I was supposed to wake up at 6.45am...But I wasnt the only one who overslept...Yueling woke up at 7.20am!!In the end, me, Cheryl and Yueling met up at 7.55am. lol~Reached Yishun at 8.10am to meet up with Yuyue and Cheng Heng.Took 969 to Tampines...Everyone was damn sleepy siaz..And we stood throughout the journey to Tampines...Had breakfast at a food court where Yueling said HELLO very loudly outside the food court.Then took 29 to Changi Depot...Met up with Shiying and Taurus...Then took boat to Pulau Ubin...Rented bicycles and cycled around...We love the downhill slopes siaz...Damn shuang...Got the excitement. LOL!Then we went to an uncle's house to buy drinks..Rested at his house and chatted with him...He used to live in Bishan before he moved to Pulau Ubin in 1989.Then we continued cycling...The first casualty happened at a split road...Me and Cheng Heng braked at the bottom of the downhill slope...But Hui Yi, behind Cheng Heng, couldnt brake in time..So she "flew" out of her bicycle and rolled down...But she had minor scratches...So we cleaned her wounds and continued cycling...Then we wanted to see wild boars...And we cycled until a slope with a sign that says.."VERY STEEP SLOPE".And the first person to cycle down the slope was Yueling.Everyone was reminding each other to slow down and brake slowly cos it's dangerous...When we reached the end of the slope...Before me and shiying reached the end of the slope...We heard someone say, "Got another one!"We saw Yueling sitting down on the ground, waving to us..She was the 2nd person who was injured...She suffered more serious injuries...Several scratches and bleeding...But she dun seem like she was injured...She still can joke, laugh...We helped her clean her wounds and stop her bleeding...Then she told us how she fell...She flew from her bike and rolled down the slope...This is ending part of how she fell...For the beginning part, please ask CHOW YUE LING!Then we cycled to the beach at Jalan Noordin.Rested there, and then turned back to the jetty...Cos it was drizzling a little...Then returned bicycles and took boat back to Singapore...Then everyone changed into Orange HK Tee...Taurus sent the 7 of us back to NYP...Shiying took the front seat, Me, Cheng Heng, Yuyue, Hui Yi, Cheryl and Yueling took the back seat.I sat on Cheng Heng's lap..Yuyue sat on Hui Yi's lap..Cheryl sat on Yueling's lap..And we look like Sunkist oranges in the car!And i pity Hui Yi and Cheng Heng..Cos me and Yuyue sat on their laps..And Cheng Heng's legs became numb.LOL! Paiseh ar...Then went to eat at North Canteen...Taurus went off cos he got something on...Then settled some stuffs and helped to sort scores..And went dazu...My knees hurt as usual..Ever since I hurt my knees last year during bbq...I always had knee aches after i cycle/roller blade/run for a long time...Damn siaz...anyway, zls went through Han Tian Lei and Tian Yang...For Han Tian Lei..Not much people managed to sightread the scores...Only those in EVCO managed to play it cos we played be4! HAHA~Then for Tai Yang...I think me, Shiying and Hui Yi managed to play the whole song...But dint play too well oso...Cos first time play during dazu.. haha~After dazu jiu walked home with Melissa, Shao Long and Yueling..Then went to buy Fried Hor Fun...Ate the whole pack of Hor Fun + a packet of 80g potato chips..Bathed, slacked abit and fell asleep...THATS ALL!!I will upload some photos tmr bah.. haha~
